WAGENFELD LEVINE ADDS TWO ATTORNEYS, STRENGTHENING FIRM'S LITIGATION CAPABILITIES

MIAMI , FL - Wagenfeld Levine, a Miami-based law firm that focuses on self-insured defense, today announced the hiring of two experienced attorneys, Ana M. Castro and Gissell Jorge.

“Both our new associates are highly experienced in preparing cases, presenting them in the courtroom, and delivering successful results for clients,” said Edward Levine, managing partner. “They significantly strengthen our firm’s litigation capabilities.”

Castro, an accomplished litigator, has represented major insurance and Fortune 1000 companies in insurance defense and workers compensation actions, tackling technically complex technical cases. She has first-chaired more than 10 trials, and conducted seminars on workers compensation-related topics.

Castro was formerly an associate with Marlow, Connell, Valerius, Abrams, Adler & Newman in Miami. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Florida and her juris doctor from the University of Miami.

Jorge, who is fluent in Spanish, was formerly staff attorney for the Office of The Standing Chapter 13 [Bankruptcy] Trustee Nancy N. Herkert in Miramar. In that role, she was responsible for review and confirmation of all Chapter 13 bankruptcy plans filed in the Southern District of Florida, as well as drafting, presenting and arguing motions, objections and memos of law before the Bankruptcy Court. She had formerly been in-house legal counsel for Eastern Financial Federal Credit Union in Miramar.

Jorge earned her bachelor of arts at Florida International University and her juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University.
