WORKERS' COMPENSATION SPECIALIST JOINS WAGENFELD LEVINE'S PHILADELPHIA OFFICE

PHILADEPHIA , PA – Attorney John P. Meyers has joined the Philadelphia office of Wagenfeld Levine, a multi-state insurance defense practice. A partner in the fast-growing firm, Meyers focuses on workers’ compensation and employment discrimination.

“With his experience and legal skills, John Meyers significantly enhances our ability to serve self-insured and large retention entities,” said Jeanne Proko, managing director of the firm’s office at 2 Penn Center Plaza ( 1500 JFK Blvd.). “The growth of our legal team reflects our firm’s ability to serve clients effectively throughout Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region.”

Meyers was formerly with Kelly, McLaughlin, Foster, Bracaglia, Daly, Trabucco & White, LLP, Plymouth Meeting, and with Rawle & Henderson LLP, Philadelphia. From 2000 to 2003, he was an adjunct professor of legal research and writing at Temple University/Beasley School of Law.

A member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, Meyers is active in the Pennsylvania Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Section. He is also a member of the Legal Writing Institute, a national association of legal writing instructors, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys.

A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, Meyers earned a bachelor of arts degree at Albion College, Albion, Michigan, and studied at the University of Sussex, Brighton, England.

With offices in Miami, St. Louis and Philadelphia, Wagenfeld Levine concentrates its practice in representation of self-insured and large retention entities.
