INSURANCE DEFENSE FIRM WAGENDFELD LEVINE
HIRES EVP FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

COLUMBUS, OHIO, & TAMPA, FL - Wagenfeld Levine, a multi-state insurance defense practice, today announced that Tedd Thomas has joined the fast-growing law firm as executive vice president of business development. He will be handling client relations at the most senior level, working with the firm’s largest client accounts. Thomas will be based in Tampa, Florida.

Thomas was previously executive vice president of sales for Tech Health, growing the company’s revenues by more than 3000 percent in five years. He was also a successful sales executive at Genex, a managed care provider in the same market segment as Tech Health. In 1998, he was named national sales performer of the year by Genex.

“My respect for Ed Levine and his team was a big factor in joining a law firm,” said Thomas. “I’m excited about the opportunities to grow our firm’s practice groups, and will work closely with the firm’s attorneys in developing the right legal solutions.”

Thomas said Fortune 1000 companies appreciate working with attorneys who stay in close touch through frequent, open communication. “Our firm’s technology initiatives – such as tracking the process of claims or monitoring files online – offer additional time-saving advantages to our risk management clients,” he added.

Thomas will be based in Tampa, where he is a volunteer basketball, baseball and football coach in the community. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications.
