LUIS ORDONEZ NAMED MANAGING DIRECTOR
OF WAGENFELD LEVINE’S MIAMI OFFICE

COLUMBUS, OHIO & MIAMI, FL - Wagenfeld Levine, a multi-state insurance defense practice, today announced that Luis E. Ordonez has been named managing director and partner of the firm’s Miami office. He will also lead the firm’s General Liability Group.

“Lou is an exceptional attorney, who brings 25 years of law firm management and tort litigation experience to this key position,” said Edward Levine, managing partner of the four-office law firm. “We look forward to growing our South Florida practice under his direction.”

Ordonez, who is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, will direct the growth of Wagenfeld Levine’s Miami office, which now has 6 attorneys and 7 support staff.

“I look forward to raising our firm’s profile in South Florida’s legal community,” said Ordonez. “We have a talented and experienced team of attorneys, who utilize state-of-the-art technology tools to serve our corporate clientele.”

Ordonez was formerly managing attorney for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company’s Miami litigation office, where he and his staff handled automobile and premises liability insurance defense litigation.

From 1985 to 2000, Ordonez was an associate and partner at three Miami law firms, where his practice focused on products liability, professional liability, general liability defense, and insurance coverage defense litigation. He began his legal career in 1981 with a Chicago law firm.

Ordonez earned a bachelor’s degree in business at Eastern Illinois University and his juris doctor (J.D.) from the University of Illinois. He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in Florida and Illinois. He is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
