BRIAN M. ZETS NAMED PARTNER
OF WAGENFELD LEVINE’S COLUMBUS OFFICE

COLUMBUS, OHIO - Wagenfeld Levine, a multi-state insurance defense practice, today announced that Brian Zets has been named partner of the firm’s Columbus office.

“Brian is entrenched in the local New Albany community, and our strategy is to serve this special community with world-class legal representation,” said Edward Levine, managing partner of the four-office law firm. “As New Albany's largest law firm, we're committed to bringing local talent -- like Brian -- onboard to forward the growth of this innovative community.”

He was formerly a senior litigation associate at Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn where his practice focused on municipal/public law, employment law (including age discrimination and non-compete issues), and commercial business litigation.

From 1996 to 2000, Zets was an Assistant Attorney General in the Corrections Litigation Section of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. There, he was responsible for defending the State against prisoner lawsuits and provided legal advice to corrections facilities and in-house counsel statewide.

A native Ohioan, Zets grew up in Youngstown. He earned his bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and his juris doctorate (J.D.) from the University Of Toledo College Of Law. He is admitted to practice in federal and state courts in Ohio. Zets is a member of the American, Ohio State, and Columbus Bar Associations as well as the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys. He volunteers his time with several local organizations and serves on the New Albany Chamber Board of Trustees where he is Executive Recorder and Legal Adviser.
