NEW PARTNER ADDS WORKERS’ COMPENSATION EXPERTISE TO COLUMBUS OFFICE
COLUMBUS, OHIO - Experienced workers’ compensation and insurance defense attorney John C. Barno has joined Wagenfeld Levine as Partner and Employment Liability Practice Group Leader for the Columbus, Ohio office.

Barno created and managed the Workers’ Compensation Department at a large Columbus law firm, and also expanded his insurance defense and civil litigation practice while doing so. Recently, the Ohio State Bar Association designated him as a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.
Representing large retail and manufacturing companies, he also held his own solo practice allowing him to focus primarily on employer liability issues. Barno has also served as an Ohio Assistant Attorney General.
A 1994 graduate of The Ohio State University College of Law, Barno is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, and both the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association, and holds membership in the Defense Research Institute, Ohio Academy of Civil Trial Attorneys, and the Workers’ Compensation Forum.
