WAGENFELD LEVINE NAMED NEW COMPANY OF THE YEAR
Attracting “Lawyers Who Are Leaders” to New Albany Law Firm

NEW ALBANY, OH - The law firm of Wagenfeld Levine was honored by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce on Dec. 14 as the area’s 2006 “Outstanding New Business of the Year.”

“The firm’s support of our efforts and causes has made a great addition to our corporate leadership and a good neighbor in our community,” said Chamber Director Eileen Leuby.

The firm, which opened its New Albany office in April, is a national player in general liability and workers’ compensation. It has hired a New Albany-based team of five attorneys focused on serving senior management at Fortune 1000-sized companies. Since opening its new office, the firm has relocated its Managing Partner, CFO, EVP of Business Development and Marketing Director here to support anticipated growth.

“We’re very proud to be New Albany’s largest law firm,” said Managing Partner Ed Levine, who also resides in the Village. “This region has become vital to our national growth strategy, and the Chamber has ensured that our transition here is smooth with really smart programs and really effective networking opportunities.”

“We understand the legal demands of a rapidly growing community like New Albany,” said Brian Zets, who is a Practice Group Leader at the firm and also resides in the Village. Zets is also on the New Albany Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Trustees.

“How we handle relationships – our methodology – is what makes us different,” he added.

Locally, the firm has supported various charities and organizations and also been a mainstay in the Chamber of Commerce Communications. Marketing Director Mark Wallinger serves on the Chamber’s Communications Committee, and the firm is a frequent supporter of Chamber publications and events.
