WAGENFELD LEVINE NAMED CORPORATION OF THE YEAR New Albany Law Firm Wins Award For Charitable Contributions
NEW ALBANY, OH (June 21, 2007) -- The law firm of Wagenfeld Levine was honored as the
“Corporation of the Year” in Columbus by
Jewish Family Services
at its annual meeting June 20.
“Our services reach everyone in Columbus and the law firm contributed both strategically
and tactically to our efforts,” said Artie Isaac, who is Chair of the JFS Board of
Directors. “Ed Levine became a Board Member and brought
fresh ideas and creative solutions to help those in need in our community.”
Wagenfeld Levine is a regional law firm focused on general liability and workers
compensation.
“We’re proud that our contributions have made an impact in this community,” said Ed
Levine, who is the firm’s Managing Partner. “We look forward to an even bigger
presence next year as we launch some innovative programs.”
Levine helped author a strategic plan to raise funds and leverage the organization’s
upcoming 100th anniversary, which will now include a Gala. Additionally, Levine and
his staff launched the project 100 Years, Hundreds of Stories, which is attempting to
become the largest civic writing project in Columbus. It features dozens of local
authors and writers documenting the stories of citizens helped by JFS over the years.
The project is currently under the guidance of Board Member Kimberly Friedman, who was
also honored at the event for her work on the project.
Levine also allowed the firm’s Marketing Director,
Mark Wallinger, to be a special
Advisor to the Board and available on an ongoing basis for various JFS events and activities.
Wagenfeld Levine has regional offices in New Albany, Miami, St. Louis and Philadelphia.
It protects some of the world's biggest brands. It represents self-insured and large
retention clients in a variety of industries with an innovative methodology that combines
vigorous defense, proprietary technology and lawyers who are leaders.
